Patrick Stoyanovich has performed for
Hungarian National Radio, in Canterbury, England, and at
Fontainebleau, France. Among his USA performances are concerts
at the Los Angeles Jazz Bakery and with he Pacific Symphony,
Florida Orchestra, Fresno Philharmonic, Spokane Symphony, and
Butte Symphony. Educated at Yale University, University of
Michigan, and American Academy in Fontainebleau, Stoyanovich was
also a National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Fellow. He is in
demand as a composer of film, classical, Jazz music and as a
solo performer. In composing and performing this original
soundtrack for the documentary, The Six-day Bicycle Races:
America's Jazz-Age Sport, Stoyanovich says: "I created a genre
film score infused with the language of Ragtime and early
jazz—with a little something extra!"
